I searched all over to find a solution to this and couldnt really find any solid answers. I also tried.pdf which says, 'ArtCAM could not import any useful data from the file.' I got back on ArtCAM today with a file from sketchup that I exported as a.dwg and when I try to load it in ArtCAM under vectorsimport I keep getting error notices that say 'Failed to import file.' Or 'Failed to import data from file'. I have used sketchup a lot to create my models and then import them as a 2D model into ArtCAM as a.dwg file.
